Profile for Robin Dingemans

Robin is a New Zealand born U.K. based artist. He has predominantly works in the experimental dance scene, he creates work as a choreographer, live artists and movement director, as well as performing for many different companies and artists. As a performer he has collaborated with many dance companies and choreographers in New Zealand and Europe, including DV8 Physical Theatre, Theatre Rites, Ricochet, Protein Dance, David Harradine, Rosemary Lee, Yvon Bonenfant, Ricochet, Arthur Pita, Fin Walker, Maresa von Stockert, Wally Cardona and many more. Projects as a choreographer include; commissions for Spring Loaded Festival, The Place Prize, The Circus Space, Dance United, London Contemporary Dance School and collaborations with architect Alex Haw, director Ewelina Kolaczek, live art group Switch, and several youth projects. His work is supported by various national and international dance and arts organizations.

Robin also works extensively as a teacher in a variety of settings including Universities, Conservatoires, criminal justice (Dance United) and people with disability.
