Canadian-Czech performance artist Misha Horacek, who is a CDS Artist Member, will lead a Planetary Dance Event on International Peace Day 2016 at the Imperial War Museum in London.

For those wishing to make a creative gesture for peace, and to meet with like-minded people, please JOIN US. All are welcome.

The Planetary Dance is a ritual dance created by American choreographer Anna Halprin in 1981. Misha trained at Tamalpa Institute California to lead new incarnations of this ritual dance, which has a 35 year-old legacy with hundreds of happenings worldwide. The overriding intention of the Planetary Dance is Peace Amongst People And Peace With The Earth.

All manifestations of Planetary Dance follow the same Score. There are three concentric circles moving at three tempos: fast running, medium running and walking. These circles occur in counter-clockwise and clockwise directions. At the centre, musicians and a Master of Ceremonies keep the heartbeat pulse.

PLEASE REGISTER with Misha Horacek on info@mishahoracek.com

This project is made possible through partnership with the Geraldine Mary Harmsworth Park, the Peace One Day organisation, Chisenhale Dance Space, and with the generous endorsement of Tamalpa Institute, California & Tamalpa UK.

Planetary Dance Open Lab is supported by Chisenhale Dance Space Allotment.
