Producer Gathering is a peer-led networking and resource sharing initiative set up by Sally Rose and Xavier de Sousa whilst they were in residence at the Live Art Development Agency. Since 2015 they have hosted Producer Gatherings, informal and welcoming sessions with the aim of connecting independent producers, artists and those interested in the practice of producing, and in hosting timely discussions about topics that feel important to the work we do in the arts. Gathering’s have been held at: Edinburgh Fringe, The Sick of the Fringe Festival, BUZZCUT, Mayfest, Live Collission and more. For these sessions at Chisenhale you are invited to come for a solo Producer advice session, or to join us for a social Producer Gathering at the local pub from 7pm.
A blog including shared resources, notes from past meetings and a way to sign up to our email list can be found here: http://producersgathering.tumblr.com/

Predominantly for dance artists, these free advice sessions are a place for discussion, advice, support and guidance on a one-to-one basis.
Sessions are 45 minutes, but please allow one hour so you can fill out an evaluation form at the end. This is a guidance only session and does not constitute an ongoing relationship of support from the organisation. CDS will provide signposting and further support networks.
