The day is one of the closing events of the £30k for 30 years campaign, raising money for studio renovation at Chisenhale Dance Space. The space has a proud history of supporting artists, and has been key in the development of Contact Improvisation in the UK. We want to celebrate this history and ensure the survival of the space by fundraising to improve the studios as part of the current fundraising campaign.
See: www.chisenhaledancespace.co.uk/support-us for more details.
The event is being supported through Chisenhale Dance Space’s Allotment programme, nurturing projects where artists take the lead. It was initiated and is coordinated by Colleen Bartley and Gale Burns and supported by Eva Rozas, Jussi Tolvi, Valentina Bongiovanni, Adam Moore, Hamish MacPherson, Laura Willoughby and a team of dedicated volunteers.
All services, performances, food and prizes have been generously donated by supporters of Chisenhale Dance Space.
