Focus on: community open days
This month’s posters, highlighting the work that Chisenhale Dance Space does with artists and the local community, focus on our community open days. Those events open up our building to offer free workshops, performances and talks to hundreds of people from Bow, Tower Hamlets and beyond.
The projects featured in the posters are Homemade Festival 2012 (including Florence Peake‘s Remake performed in Victoria Park); Chisenhale Fun Palace, a two day festival of activities for all ages; and Canalside festival featuring Amy Sharrock’s The Museum of Water and Rachel Gimme’s Water Bearer.

In 2015 the income we earn from space hire is paying for our building costs and staff to manage it, which means that all voluntary donations go towards artistic activity, supporting artists and the local community. You can make a one-off or regular donation on our website.
