Focus on: Dance and the Homemade
This month’s posters highlighting the work that Chisenhale Dance Space does with artists and the local community are focussing on Dance and the Homemade. This was a commissioning scheme from 2012 to 2014 that provided an opportunity for dancers, movement artists and live artists, to create new, work which was risky or would take them in a new direction in their practice. Throughout the course of the programme, there were 13 bursaries available for up to £2,000 each, as well as generous in-kind support with producing, technical help, studio space and documentation.
The artists featured in the posters are Greg Wohead, Noemi Lakmaier, Sheep(s), Project O and Neil Callaghan.

In 2015 the income we earn from space hire is paying for our building costs and staff to manage it, which means that all voluntary donations go towards artistic activity, supporting artists and the local community. You can make a one-off or regular donation on our website.
