Moving Night – Call out for work

Shakti Orion invites you to submit work for Moving Night – Episode One

Moving Night is a platform to get together and share creativity that is taking place at Chisenhale Dance Space on the 8th of September 2017.

Shakti wants to curate a cross-disciplinary body of works that are accessible. She encourages practitioners across all disciplines to submit completed works or work-in-progress, of no longer than 10 minutes and which are performance works of any theme and style.

Submission guidelines:

  • No need to include a CV, Shakti is more interested in what you want to present and why
  • Maximum of 3 images per work and a video link to the piece
  • 3 descriptive  bullet points, with no more than 150 words in total
  • Pieces should be no longer than 10 minutes with low technical  requirements
  • Please describe your technical requirements, number of  performers, props and/or materials if any

This is an unpaid opportunity but we offer you the opportunity to present your work explore and test your ideas in a friendly and supportive environment, plus photo documentation of the performance and a big thank you.

Deadline:  at 5pm on the 30th of August 2017

Notifications: Shortly after the deadline

Moving night day: 8th of September 2017,  7 to 9 pm.
