The Weather Inside is a performance project about self-expression and the baffling nature of the feelings that give rise to it. Flora is a dancer who’s been learning to clown. In this performance she takes a playful, embodied dive into emotions, embracing feeling/s inside out and outside in. Think potent, fictional, seasonal changeling.
The Weather Inside is a body of research that Flora has been working on over the past year. It comprises live performance, film, photography and writing, as well as a newfangled practice of clowning.
For this Future Friday ‘Love, Beauty, Speranza’, a video work made during a residency in Tuscany last September, will also be shown, along with a written piece.
The performance will commence at 7.45pm.
Early research supported by DanceEast and through a residency at Villa Lena Art Foundation, Italy.
