Artist Community: Application Support Session

This evening is hosted by Frances Morgan (she/her), CDS’ Artist Community Producer, who has been part of CDS’ ecosystem for almost a decade. She is an artist, performer, facilitator and producer from East Yorkshire whose practices draw from diverse interests in dance, live art and writing. Her role at CDS has recently focussed on developing processes for artist leadership including facilitating the paid Artist Committee, and holding the relationships between various stakeholders at the organisation: artists, trustees and staff.

On July 11th 2023, we launched a reimagined version of our Artist Community, where artists have the autonomy to make things happen, together.

We’re looking for 200 independent artists to build community, develop practice, invest in peer-to-peer learning, and form the collective artistic leadership of Chisenhale Dance Space.

Applications to join the CDS Artist Community open on Mon 4 September and close Fri 6 October. Application guidance will be released wc 28th August.
