Feeling disconnected from your body? Would you like to explore your creativity in a supportive shared space? Wanting to move but don’t fit in to mainstream dance or yoga classes?
These workshops will include movement explorations, guided imagery, solo and partner work, writing and drawing to look at your body stories from a more creative perspective. Each session will focus on a different aspect of the body-psyche to discover a poetic language of metaphor that is unique and personal to you and includes your whole self. Free your imagination, find more ease in your body and rediscover the joy of movement.
To register please send a short email outlining your interest and what you hope to gain from the experience to: firstname.lastname@example.org
About the Facilitator:
Natasha Swingler believes the body knows things worth knowing. She makes performance, dance, video and installations connected to the replay of memory through the body, the unspoken and taboo, identity, trauma and liminal experiences seen through the lens of poetry, metaphor, sensation and image. She is an artist member of Chisenhale Dance Space.
