A community open day for local residents

Chisenhale Art Place invites you to our community open day – an opportunity to learn about our programmes and help shape the future of our work in Tower Hamlets.

Building on the meaningful discussions with local residents that took place at our Winter Forum in December, we invite you to join us for a Community Open Day in early Spring – an opportunity to help shape the future of Chisenhale Art Place and its role in Tower Hamlets.

At the Winter Forum, we heard a clear call for greater local visibility and consistent programming, stronger local partnerships, and more accessible spaces. There was enthusiasm for establishing local ambassadors and reimagining our building as a more active, community-led hub.

On Saturday 29 March, we’re bringing together local residents, supporters, and friends to share our plans for implementing some of these ideas. Senior staff from Chisenhale Studios, Chisenhale Gallery, and Chisenhale Dance Space will be present to provide updates and hear your thoughts and feedback.

The event will also feature creative activities for children, inspired by Claudia Pagès Rabal’s new exhibition, Five Defence Towers, at Chisenhale Gallery, alongside light refreshments. We look forward to welcoming you.

Chisenhale Art Place comprises three neighbouring organisations that share one building on Chisenhale Road, E3 – Chisenhale Studios, Chisenhale Gallery and Chisenhale Dance Space.
