Contact Improvisation Class with Jo Dyer, followed by a Jam with live music from Patrick Carpenter.

Jam 5-7pm
We will start with tasks allowing ‘listening’ to ourselves and the space., as well as preparing us for physical and expansive dancing. Using set and improvised material, we will explore opportunities to share weight, whether brief moments or longer, fuller exchanges. The class is devised to encourage sensitive, focused and generous dancing at the jam, which will have live improvised music from Patrick Carpenter.
The class is suitable for different levels of ability and experience, but if you are completely new to CI (you have never done a class before) please contact me before booking.
It is possible to attend just the class or just the jam.
