Back again with their 4th 1-day workshop.
December 3rd Sunday

A Quest For Better Communication
What the Fighting Monkey Research has inspired us to work on is communication. In every workshop communication is our main pillar and this time specifically we’re going to be playing around mapping.

What is mapping?
Mapping is reading

How do we read?
We read through action
We read through asking questions, conscious or unconscious
but active

Through these questions you won’t be consuming knowledge, you’ll create new knowledge.

These questions can be grouped in two main groups:
Zero Forms – where we ask ourselves.
Movement Situation – where we play/question our social and physical environment. This workshop is inspired by the research of Fighting Monkey Practice and the intention is to serve as an introduction or continuation to the principles that guide it, pursuing a sustainable and smart movement quality that allows us to age more gracefully while maintaining our capabilities and helps us stay engaged with life so that we can enjoy it more fully.

Absolutely beginner-friendly, you need no prior experience to come learn and enjoy the different Movement Situations we’ll present. The material is also suitable for advanced movers too; dancers, martial artists and athletes – any person who is interested in exploring and developing the capacities of the human animal.
