Flora’s been teasing out a relationship between motion and emotion through dancing, writing, and clowning. Here she shares her research into different states of mind and motion, embracing feeling/s inside-out and outside-in.
The weather inside is an ongoing research project. It comprises writing, dancing alone and in public, singing, clowning and staging photographs in the open air. It’s about mood, how the weather and the seasons affect us: overflow, plateau, high-low, the sunny side of the hill and the shady side of the hill, introversion and exhibitionism. Here Flora will share the latest chapter of this work in a performance.
Early research supported by DanceEast and through a residency at Villa Lena Art Foundation, Italy.
