GIRL GANG – Part of Encounter Bow

GIRL GANG
Two afternoons of dares, adventures, and taking up space

Part of Encounter Bow
Saturday 7th & 14th September |  2 – 4:30pm

We Dare You to Join Us…

As part of Encounter Bow Festival, GIRL GANG invites women (trans inclusive) who are over 18 years old, to join them for an afternoon or two of dares and adventures in and around Roman Road. Happening on both Saturday 7th and Saturday 14th of September; you can join for one adventure, or two! This is a chance to explore your boundaries and behave outside your ordinary with your new gang in a playful, supportive and daring manner.

GIRL GANG is about taking up space and pushing your boundaries. Daring should not be humiliating or painful. Daring should be safe but scary. It should be something you would not dare to do on your own. Something you need a Girl Gang around you to do, – it can be quiet, loud, in public, fun, challenging, stupid, silly, serious, chaotic, and, well-planned.

Run by a group of artists from Bristol, two members of their GIRL GANG will lead the afternoon adventures. We will roam around Roman Road for a few hours, taking on a series of dares and adventures as a Girl Gang, delighting in taking up space and finding freedom together.

This event is completely FREE and supported by Chisenhale Dance Space, Action For Bow and Arts Council England.
