Making Monsters with Feet off the Ground
A fun, physical and interactive event for families.

Event time: 10.15am-12.15pm.
Price: £8 per child (parents free)
Feet off the Ground welcome you to be part of a fun, physical and interactive session for children and their adults as part of their research for a new outdoor work. Activities will include dance workshops (Monster Movement and Creature Adventure), mask and head dress making, play space, create a creature, games and more.
The session will conclude with a short performance by Feet off the Ground.
Feet off the Ground is performance collective that makes innovative and engaging dance for a variety of contexts and settings. Founded in 2013, Feet off the Ground present an ensemble solely managed and performed by women. The collective utilise Contact Improvisation and Partnering techniques as a common ground for research and performance devising and have performed in the UK and Europe.
Feet off the Ground have taught extensively for a number of established organisations which include: London Contemporary Dance School, The Place, Dance4, Chisenhale Dance Space, Laban, BalletBoyz Dancer’s Course, Northern School of Contemporary Dance amongst others. The collective have also led a wide variety of workshops within the community for a range of ages and abilities.
