Contemporary Explorations – New Class for 12-16 years!

We are delighted to announce our first EVER regular, weekly class for Teenagers taking place here at CDS!

Contemporary Explorations invites teens aged 12–16 to dive into the world of contemporary dance. Through release-based techniques, participants will explore athletic movement, creative expression, and collaborative choreography. Expect floorwork, dynamic travel sequences, and playful improvisation—all designed to build strength, coordination, and flow.

Led by dance artists Cat and Kajsa, each session includes:

Guided improvisation to unlock personal style

Technical exercises to sharpen skills

Collaborative choreography to bring ideas to life

Whether you’re new to dance or already passionate, this class welcomes all levels. Just bring your curiosity and a willingness to move.
